Bruce is a life-long cottager on Skootamatta Lake and now a retired resident on Oborne Point Road. His grandfather first brought the family in the early 1920’s to what was then known as Loon Lake. His father, along with a number of other cottagers on the lake, was a founding member of the Loon Lake
Hunting and Fishing Club which evolved over the decades into what became our Skootamatta District Ratepayers Association (SDRA). Bruce is a past president of the SDRA. Bruce’s wife Lynn is also a long-time, past member of our Association’s Board.
