It’s hard to believe it’s September already. Last time we checked the ice was still on the lake. 

But September and the Labour Day weekend means our end of season Fireworks. As usual they will be from the Causeway on Hughes Landing Rd. Start time will be Saturday at 8:30 pm sharp. It is one of the highlights of the cottage season. I am always amazed at the number of boats that come out to watch. If you are coming by boat please be mindful that your wake can be a danger to other boats that can not see it. Stay slow, stay safe. And enjoy!

Food Bank – We will also have the food bank bins set up at the corner of Skootamatta Lake Rd. (South end) and Hwy 41 all weekend. If you are clearing out your cottage this weekend please drop any non perishable items in the bin that you can. We will get them to the Food Bank.
