With summer just around the corner, and black fly season behind us, we have a few important updates to share: 

• At over $2,000, we have already collected more food bank donations in a month than we did in all of 2019. Thank you for your generosity and support of our community! You can donate with your membership renewal or as a standalone donation by going to www.skootamatta.ca/membership.
• With physical distancing still very much in place, this year’s AGM will be a little different. It will be held on Saturday July 4th, starting at 9:30 am, but it will be online. An agenda and more details will follow, so please keep an eye on your email.
• With this in mind, you will not be able to renew your SDRA membership in person, so please renew your membership online at www.skootamatta.ca/membership or by mail, using the form included in your newsletter and a cheque.
• Also, instead of our standard Canada Day boat parade, we will be running a Dock Decorating Contest! So pull out your 🇨🇦 ‘red and white’ 🇨🇦 and decorate your dock! Then hop into your boat on Canada Day, go for a ride and check out what others have done!
• Be sure to submit a picture of your dock as we’ll be holding a contest, with PRIZES!
• At this time, no final decision has been made regarding the Lake Festival or other summer events. We will keep you posted as those decisions are made over the next several weeks.
