It’s that time of year again for the Great Canadian Skootamatta Ice Contest!

The ice will still go out this year despie COVID-19, so let’s look forward to some enjoyable times at Skootamatta Lake when this crisis is over.

The rules are simple: Send your best guess for the date you think the ice will go out by replying to this email. We will collect the dates and a winner will be determined.

There are usually several correct answers so the UTIMATE winner will be decided at the AGM in July by some form of playoff.

Massive prizes (well, maybe just bragging rights) will go to the winner(s)! As usual, wewill keep an eye on the lake between Oborne Point and Bible Island as the ’official’ ice-out contest area. When there is more water in that area than ice, that will be the date.
